With international OT day last week and Occupational Therapy week starting today, DLF for Professionals is celebrating this incredible profession with the opportunity to win a place on the accredited Home Adaptations for Professionals courses and a subscription to our new prescribing tool, DLF ProAssist. 

Each day this week you will receive an email with a link to a question related to Occupational Therapy, adaptations or DLF. All you need to do is answer the question and you will be entered into a draw that will take place at the end of the week. You have until Friday at 5pm to enter any of the draws and winners will be chosen at random. 

Home Adaptations for Professionals is a level five accredited course for anyone who is required to assess and recommend adaptations to the home. It can help to introduce a new subject to those new to the field, refresh your skills or provide some consistency across teams. It’s aimed at Occupational Therapists but there are no pre-requisites for the course. There are five modules, each module is CPD accredited and to gain the level 5 accreditation you must complete three or more modules. 

Today’s draw is for the first module, Access. The course looks at a range of solutions that will enable someone to gain access into and around their homes. 

The second prize is a year’s subscription to the new DLF ProAssist prescribing tool. Based on the original Hamilton Index, then DLF data, DLF ProAssist has been designed with OTs in mind. The system provides access to information on over 52,000 products, surrounded with information and evidence to help provide best practice guidance and justification for equipment provision. This hub enables sharing of good practice over counties, services and professionals.
